One way that you could work with Cambridge Children's Books and engage more with our books is to have an author visit from one of our Authors. Pip Barber and Gregoire Hodder would love to come to your school and talk about their books, phonics and how to make a book!
Pip Barber is experienced in and excited about teaching phonics and early reading. She has taught in infant and primary schools for several years. Pip loves living in Cambridgeshire and has found its cities, towns and villages fascinating places to learn about... and start to write about!
Gregoire Hodder is a children’s book author and publisher and founder of Cambridge Children’s Books. A graduate of Cambridge University in Education and English Literature, Gregoire was born and raised in Cambridge. His writing is fun and playful but always conveys an important message. He sees reading as an important part of a child’s development, not only for literacy skills, but also for the development of morals and values such as empathy, love, and curiosity.
